Impact Dynamics Concludes GBG Bizfest 2019 in Peshawar

Peshawar-based organization Impact Dynamics, in collaboration with NIC Peshawar hosted Google Business Group Peshawar’s annual conference – BIZFEST 2019.

With over 500 participants in attendance, the event was graced by speakers from diverse backgrounds. Major (retired) Arshad Mahmood, the co-director of Impact Dynamics and Maryam Arshad (Lead, Google Business Group-Peshawar and Director, Impact Dynamics) led the opening session for the conference.  

 The highlight of the event was the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Minister Kamran Bangash, who attended the event, amongst other dignitaries and notable public and private sector technology leaders.

Murtaza Zaidi, Sanan Sethi (Peshawar Model Schools and City University), The General Manager Marketing of Tapal Pvt Ltd, Dr. Shafique Ur Rehman (CEO Rehman Medical Institute), Muhammad Asfar Ehsan (CEO Nutshell Forum), Ijlal Jafri  (Joint director, Martin Dow Group), Zainab Qaiser Khan (head of UN Women in KPK), Sarwat Gillani (famous Film and TV actress) were present among many others.

Panel discussions at the conference included: Technology and Innovation-The Way Forward, The Evolution of Healthcare with Technology, Women-Will-Breaking Barriers, Corporates Startups-Opportunities for Innovation, Growth and Sustainability, Mobility-Shaping the Road of Mobility, Social Media Influencers- Shaping Narratives and Gaming-AR, VR and The Future of Gaming. 

The conference also featured workshops centering around Ul/UX Design, Designing Games, Firebase Analytics, Growth Hacking amongst others.

Supporting partners included, Rehman Medical Institute, City University and Peshawar Model Schools, Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, KPK. KPITBoard was the strategic partner for the event. TechAdvisor/IDG was the media partner for the event.

GBG Peshawar as ranked amongst the top ten chapters of the world (as of 2016 by Google Inc)  hosts free technology sessions and workshops to help startups and business professionals alike. This conference aimed to equip the startups and students who aspire to become business professionals with the right skill set to advance their careers and learn about tech skills and soft skills that would go a long way in helping them become influential leaders, tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and business owners.
