In a move to equip individuals with in-demand digital skills, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Tech Valley Pakistan have partnered to offer 10,000 free Google Career Certification scholarships. This initiative aims to bridge the digital skills gap and empower individuals for success in today’s competitive job market.

Open to all, regardless of educational background, these scholarships provide an inclusive pathway to top-tier digital education. Distributed through partner organizations, the program offers access to ten Google Career Certification courses, each valued between $100 and $500.

Through Coursera, beneficiaries will receive six months of online training in various high-demand fields, including Artificial Intelligence, IT Support, Project Management, Data Analytics, UX Design, Digital Marketing, Cybersecurity, and more. This comprehensive training equips participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in the digital economy.

“PITB will actively support this initiative by shortlisting eligible organizations within the province and facilitating outreach efforts by Tech Valley,” said PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf. “We will also promote these scholarships extensively to ensure maximum reach and participation.”

This collaboration between PITB and Tech Valley Pakistan presents a significant opportunity for individuals in Punjab to upskill and enhance their employability in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
