Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) is organizing an exclusive session on July 25, 2025, to foster investment dialogue and e-commerce promotion between Pakistan and China. This initiative has been led by Shabbir Hassan Mansha, Chairman of the Pakistan-China Business Council of FPCCI. The session will feature Jian Peng Philip, Honorary Investment Counsellor (HIC) for China, appointed by Board of Investment (BOI), Pakistan. Mr. Philip will provide expert insights on mechanisms to strengthen trade and investment linkages between the two countries.

The event will also introduce key initiatives by Chengdu Siba Zhen Trading Co., Ltd. (Pak Treasure Silk Road Trading Co., Ltd.), with a focus on enabling Pakistani exporters’ access to Chinese B2B and e-commerce markets. These initiatives aim to create new market opportunities by connecting Pakistani businesses with platforms in China that are geared toward cross-border digital trade and business expansion.

Scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM, the event will be held at the Sardar Yasin Meeting Room, B2 Floor, FPCCI Federation House, Karachi. Chambers and business stakeholders from across Pakistan will also have the opportunity to attend virtually via Zoom. The agenda includes addresses by senior FPCCI leadership and Mr. Jian Peng Philip, followed by a proposal presentation for free working space in China by Sujaat Ali, representative of the Belt and Road Economic Trade Centre in Suzhou. The session will conclude with a dedicated presentation from Chengdu Siba Zhen Trading Co., Ltd. and a discussion on actionable trade opportunities.

Participants will benefit from firsthand insights into the strategic cooperation possibilities with Chinese firms and institutions. This includes details on infrastructure support for Pakistani exporters, proposed facilitation centers in China, and integration into digital platforms intended to streamline cross-border trade.

The session aims to support broader trade collaboration by highlighting practical business solutions, easing exporter challenges, and establishing sustainable frameworks for long-term engagement. Business leaders are expected to explore avenues where e-commerce, logistics, and bilateral investments can evolve into scalable models aligned with mutual interests.

Interested participants were invited to confirm attendance via email to sidrah.gilani@fpcci.org.pk. The meeting will bring together decision-makers, exporters, and trade facilitators to deliberate on the current landscape of China-Pakistan business relations, aligning with FPCCI’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships.
