Federal IT Minister Visits The Nest I/O

The new government is all set to make its mark for the better in every department, as one of its first step for a new and improved Pakistan in terms of IT and Technology, the Federal IT Minister dropped in for a surprise visit and discussion at the Nest I/O, on the 25th of August 2018.

Sharing highlights from the visit, Jehan Ara President P@SHA and Big Bird at The Nest I/O wrote,

“Today the Federal IT & Telecom Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui dropped in at The Nest I/O to meet with startups and to have a frank discussion regarding the challenges faced by the startup ecosystem and the tech community. This was his first official visit as IT & Telecom Minister.”

Furthermore, she added that they had an informal discourse with him and introduced him to some of the entrepreneurs from the ecosystem such as Modulus Tech, Connect Hear, Mandi Express, Asaan Taleem and Tello Talk.

According to her, he listened intently to the problems faced by startups and their attempts to solve them. He also asked relevant questions, made suggestions and asked about their expectations from his Ministry and the Government in general.

Other industry experts such as Ashraf Kalim, Mubariz Siddiqui, Zain Moosa and Maryam Moinuddin were also present at the meeting.
