Faysal Bank Launches Women’s Empowerment Program

Faysal Bank Limited has launched Faysal Khud Mukhtar Internship Program in collaboration with CIRCLE. The program aims to empower women from underserved communities in Pakistan by providing them with professional training and internship opportunities.

Through the Faysal Khud Mukhtar Internship Program, 40 women have received training and internships at Faysal Bank, equipping them with essential skills to join the mainstream workforce. This initiative aligns with Faysal Bank’s focus on Care, Innovation, and Sustainability and its commitment to supporting women’s empowerment.

Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO of Faysal Bank, emphasized the bank’s commitment to the well-being of communities and women’s empowerment. He stated that financial empowerment of women is crucial for the overall strength of the economy.

Ms. Sadaffe Abid, CEO of CIRCLE, highlighted the importance of technology and professional skills for women’s economic empowerment. She expressed excitement about the partnership with Faysal Bank and the potential impact on women’s lives.

The partnership between Faysal Bank and CIRCLE represents a significant step towards addressing critical challenges facing women in Pakistan’s workforce.
