Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) organized a dedicated Ericsson Digital Unboxed 2021 Event virtually for Jazz Pakistan. Crafted for Jazz Pakistan, Ericsson’s global and regional experts and thought leaders showcased the latest insights, use cases and technologies tailored to Jazz Pakistan.

Ericsson revealed its technology strategy and updates, as well as the prospects for consumer and enterprise markets, during the virtual event. With a focus on B2B segments, Ericsson discussed numerous themes including developing a differentiated user experience for sports, spectrum strategies, and dedicated networks. The latest Ericsson ConsumerLab reports were also presented and debated as part of the event. Edge Compute Gaming, where reduced latency access may improve gaming, and Ericsson Industry Connect, a channel-ready cellular network for factories and warehouses created to expedite ordering, installation, and maintenance, were among the demos at the event.

The event topics are aligned with the Pakistan Digital Vision as Ericsson continues to support the local telecom players in the country towards a holistic digital ecosystem with advanced concepts and components for the rapid delivery of next generation digital services, applications and content.

“Digitalization is pervasive and is now part of our daily lives,” says Abdul R. Usmani, Jazz’s VP of Network. At Jazz, we strive to provide state-of-the-art End-to-End services to our customers, with an emphasis on data-driven networks and the need to accelerate technological developments in AI, FinTech, and digital content. The Ericsson Unboxed event revealed numerous key findings that will help expedite the next phase of connectivity development. We’re excited for further information and are optimistic about the next step in the digitization process.”

“Ericsson’s cooperation with Jazz covers many years, with significant recent wins and joint triumphs in the areas of network rollout and digital services,” says Ekow Nelson, Vice President of Ericsson Middle East and Africa and Head of Ericsson Pakistan. “Due to Covid-19, our world is going through some difficult times, and networking is more important than ever. To meet the demands of an ever-changing world, Ericsson strives to automate and speed its networks and technology. We’re collaborating closely with Jazz to deliver the finest possible connectivity, ensuring that Jazz networks perform at their best as demand rises and the need for digitization accelerates.”

Waqas Naeem, Country Manager of Ericsson Pakistan says: “We have concluded the Jazz Pakistan Digital Unboxed with great discussions on network possibilities and creating a differentiated user experience in different segments. The future is bright for Pakistan and we are keen to see the benefits technology holds for the country.”
