CaterpillHERs and CodeGirls has formed a partnership to empower women in freelancing through the launch of the Freelance Accelerator Program – Cohort VII. The two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), solidifying their shared commitment to equipping women with the skills and resources needed to thrive in the competitive freelancing industry.

This collaboration is a game-changer for women aspiring to establish successful freelance careers. Through the partnership, alumni of CodeGirls will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in the 14-week accelerator program as fully sponsored participants, eliminating financial barriers and ensuring equitable access to transformative learning. The sponsorship offers a select number of limited seats, adding a sense of urgency for interested candidates to secure their spot.

The Freelance Accelerator Program is meticulously designed to provide women with hands-on learning, mentorship, and growth opportunities that will help them navigate the freelancing landscape with confidence. Over the course of 14 weeks, participants will engage in intensive training sessions, networking opportunities, and skill-building workshops tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities within the freelancing industry. From enhancing technical expertise to mastering client acquisition strategies, the program aims to leave no stone unturned in preparing its cohort to lead the freelance game.

Leaders from both organizations expressed their excitement about the collaboration. A spokesperson from CaterpillHERs highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating, “This partnership reflects our unwavering dedication to creating a level playing field for women in the freelancing world. Together with CodeGirls, we’re providing not just tools but the confidence to excel in this rapidly growing sector.”

Similarly, CodeGirls representatives emphasized the importance of fostering opportunities for women in technology and freelancing. They noted that the accelerator program aligns seamlessly with their mission to uplift women through technical training and career development, further strengthening their alumni’s potential to succeed in freelance careers.

The Freelance Accelerator Program comes at a time when freelancing is becoming an increasingly viable career path in Pakistan, particularly for women who face traditional workplace barriers. By equipping women with the skills to succeed in freelancing, CaterpillHERs and CodeGirls are contributing to financial independence, professional growth, and the broader empowerment of women in the workforce.

Applications for the program are open now, with the deadline set for January 24, 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity. The application link is available here: Apply Today.

With this initiative, CaterpillHERs and CodeGirls are not only addressing the immediate needs of aspiring freelancers but also paving the way for long-term empowerment, innovation, and inclusivity in Pakistan’s freelance and technology sectors.
