DeafTawk, a leading organization for the deaf community, and Sightsavers, an international disability inclusion organization, have unveiled the third cohort of the Innovation Challenge Futuremakers (ICF) program.
ICF, Pakistan’s first fast-track acceleration program for persons with disabilities, continues to foster a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurs. The program’s blend of virtual and in-person engagements nurtures startup growth and resilience.
After a rigorous selection process, the third cohort features diverse startups offering innovative solutions to address various challenges. From enhancing banking accessibility for the visually impaired to revolutionizing the rental market, these startups are poised to make a significant impact.
Risham Arif Raja, Country Manager of DeafTawk, expressed excitement about the third cohort, highlighting the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit within the disability community.
Munazza Gillani, Director of Pakistan and Middle East at Sightsavers, emphasized the program’s commitment to fostering disability inclusion and providing comprehensive support to the selected entrepreneurs.
The nine startups in the third cohort include Accessible Banking Consultancy, Blind Tone Studio, Delivery Baba, Inclusive Pakistan, Meezan Packaging Solutions, Researcharge, Rein n Raus, Reliable Stores, and ZapLock.
The entrepreneurs will receive mentorship, curriculum sessions, funding opportunities, marketing and PR support, networking opportunities, startup toolkits, and exposure to global conferences.
