Computerworld Pakistan returns as a Technology Media Partner for ITCN Asia Karachi 2026, supporting one of Pakistan’s leading technology exhibition and conferences as it prepares to bring together technology leaders, policymakers, investors, startups and industry professionals. Scheduled from September 22 to 24, 2026, at Expo Centre Karachi, the three-day event will provide a platform for discussions around emerging technologies, digital transformation, innovation and opportunities within Pakistan’s growing technology ecosystem. The first day of ITCN Asia Karachi 2026 will focus on artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, technology investment and building a stronger digital economy. The opening programme will begin with a welcome address from ITCN Asia CEO Muhammad Umair Nizam. The opening event will also feature a Virtual Global Vision Keynote by H.E. Deemah Al-Yahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO). The chief guest address will be delivered by Muhammad Ali Rashid, Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Science & IT Department, Government of Sindh, focusing on innovation, investment and inclusive digital growth, along with sessions exploring the role of technology in creating digital opportunities and supporting economic growth.
Day One will feature discussions on Pakistan’s AI and technology economy, including insights from Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) Chairman Azfar Manzoor on powering innovation through technology zones. National Telecommunication Corporation Managing Director Maj. Gen. (R) Ali Farhan will discuss the role of secure and intelligent digital infrastructure, while Special Investment Facilitation Council Project Director IT & Telecom Syed Nadir Hussain Shah will highlight strategic investment opportunities supporting Pakistan’s digital economy. The programme will also include perspectives from Ignite CEO Muhammad Bilal Abbasi on talent, startups and innovation, Pakistan Digital Authority Vice Chairperson Mohammad J. Sear on responsible AI and regulation, and Universal Service Fund CEO Chaudhry Mudassar Naveed on expanding digital opportunities across the country.
A key highlight of the opening day will be the Digital Corridor Forum, which will focus on building product nations in the AI economy. The session will bring together experts to discuss global investment, venture building, digital finance transformation, creative economy growth and workforce mobility. The discussion will explore how Pakistan can strengthen its technology capabilities by moving toward product-based innovation, expanding global collaborations and developing solutions for international markets. The agenda will also feature Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) CEO Faisal Jeddy discussing the transition from services to products and the future of technology exports. The programme will conclude with the Pakistan Investor Summit 2026 by NIC Karachi, which will connect entrepreneurs, investors and ecosystem stakeholders through investment showcases, investor discussions, networking opportunities and keynote sessions.
