Nabeel Qadeer, speaking on the occasion said “The goal is to provide Pakistan with access to the benefits of globalized economic tools fairly and effectively. Hence, I see this project as bringing economic prosperity to the country by creating opportunities of training and development as well as equipping youth, especially women with effective entrepreneurship tools.”

The Commonwealth Youth Hub for Innovation Leadership is to focus on the following aspects i.e. Social Cohesion, Peace and Security, Economy and Sustainability. Furthermore, the hub will consist of city initiative, space initiatives, enterprise & investment, think tanks on global issues, and political academy. However, the main focus of the Youth Hub for Innovation and Leadership Pakistan will be on creating an ecosystem for startups and entrepreneurs.

However, the hub also has plans of developing an entire city that includes incubators, accelerators, tax-free zones, business centers, Special Economic Zones and IT parks for youth.

Moreover, the Hub under its Enterprise and Investment Initiative will also be focusing on: International internships, Professional development courses, Financial investment groups, Social Responsibility Programs, Technical Capacity Building initiatives and Investment opportunities for Startups.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995.
