Pakistan’s IT Export industry has been at an all-time high for the outgoing financial year of 2016-17 with receipts of nearly $1 billion received through the banking channel. However, the numbers stated by PSEB have been 3 times higher SBP’s numbers ($2.81 billion) through the input of companies/software houses.
The increase in the IT exports from Pakistan is also due to major summits and conferences that take place all over the world, where IT leaders from Pakistan and around the globe come together. One of such platforms is the Nordic Pakistan IT Summit.
