CES 2026 is just around the corner, with the main show floor opening from January 6 to 9, preceded by events beginning January 4 and press conferences on January 5. The Las Vegas Convention Center and nearby hotels will host product demonstrations, announcements, and networking, while media outlets including Engadget will provide coverage both in-person and remotely. Early details and pre-announcements are already emerging, and the schedule from Consumer Technology Association provides a clear look at press conferences and key presentations for the opening days of the event.

Samsung will kick off CES with its First Look presentation on January 4, led by TM Roh, CEO of Samsung’s DX Division, sharing the company’s vision for device experiences in 2026, with a focus on AI-driven customer interactions. Concurrently, CES Unveiled will host smaller vendors and startups. On January 5, LG will hold its press conference titled Innovation in Tune with You, highlighting new products designed around Affectionate Intelligence, including its first Micro RGB television, the LG Micro RGB evo, with certifications for 100 percent DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB coverage and over a thousand dimming zones. LG will also showcase the Gallery TV, 5K-capable gaming monitors, a modular Dolby-powered home audio system, xboom speakers developed with will.i.am, and a humanoid home automation robot named CLOiD. Bosch, Hisense, and Lego will also hold press events that day.

Chip manufacturers will dominate part of the CES schedule, with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang presenting the company’s latest solutions for AI and productivity across industries at 1PM PT, overlapping with Hyundai’s showcase of in-cabin tech and robotics. Intel and AMD will follow, highlighting their new processors and AI applications. Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3, built with a 2-nanometer 18A process, promises 50 percent performance improvements, while AMD may unveil its Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Ryzen 9000G series based on Zen 5 architecture, alongside its FSR Redstone AI upscaling. Qualcomm is also expected to showcase the Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Elite Premium for laptops, expanding beyond smartphones and tablets to AI-enhanced computing devices.

Display technology will be a major highlight, with Samsung and LG emphasizing Micro RGB TVs and 5K or higher gaming monitors. Samsung is reportedly pushing HDR10+ Advanced with genre-based tone mapping, while Sony may introduce True RGB LED displays with brighter, more accurate colors compared with QD-OLED panels. Sony will also present new Bravia TVs and a 240Hz PlayStation monitor. Robotics will remain a focus, with Samsung potentially relaunching its Ballie robot alongside other AI-driven vacuums and home robots. Robotic vacuum innovations, such as retractable arms and improved navigation using AI world models, are expected to be prominent, allowing devices like LG CLOiD to operate more effectively in homes and workplaces. CES 2026 promises to set the stage for technology developments in AI, displays, chips, and robotics, providing a glimpse into the year’s consumer electronics trends.
