Pakistan’s thriving startup ecosystem will take center stage at LEAP 2025, where the CEO of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Mr. Abu Bakar, will join a panel discussion titled “Empowering Startups Through Global Collaboration.” The event, often referred to as the “Digital Davos,” will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from February 9 to 12, bringing together global tech leaders to drive innovation and shape the future of technology.

Mr. Abu Bakar will highlight the advancements of Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem, focusing on strategies for startup growth through international partnerships, funding opportunities, and supportive policies.

LEAP has gained prominence as a transformative platform for technology, attracting government officials, tech entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world. The 2025 event will feature over 500 speakers, focusing on themes like sustainability, AI, and emerging technologies. Pakistan’s participation underscores its ambitions to position itself as a key player in the global tech ecosystem.

Under Mr. Abu Bakar’s leadership, PSEB has played a pivotal role in accelerating Pakistan’s startup growth by facilitating investor connections, launching accelerator programs, and reducing barriers for tech entrepreneurs. His presence at LEAP aims to spotlight Pakistan’s success stories in sectors like fintech, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence while sharing strategies for scaling innovation.

LEAP 2025 also provides an opportunity to strengthen ties with Saudi Arabia and regional partners, enhancing economic and technological cooperation between South Asia and the Middle East. Pakistan’s presence at the event aligns with its vision of becoming a significant contributor to the global technology landscape.

As Pakistani startups gain international recognition and funding, events like LEAP offer a platform to further elevate their visibility. Participating startups will benefit from networking opportunities and access to global investors, helping them scale operations and explore new markets.

With Mr. Abu Bakar representing Pakistan at LEAP 2025, the country is set to showcase its potential as a hub for tech innovation and collaboration, driving growth in the global startup community.
