AkaBot has announced a strategic partnership with Contrivus. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in the advancement of digital transformation and intelligent automation adoption across various industries in the country. With businesses increasingly embracing automation, the partnership aims to equip enterprises with cutting-edge solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.

Pakistan is currently undergoing a transformative shift toward automation and digitalization. The demand for intelligent automation technologies, including agentic AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA), is growing rapidly. According to research firm 6Wresearch, the country’s automation market is experiencing robust expansion as businesses seek to optimize operations and improve decision-making. RPA has already made a substantial impact in key sectors such as finance, telecommunications, and public services.

Within the financial sector, major banks have successfully integrated RPA to automate repetitive and time-consuming processes. Allied Bank, for instance, implemented RPA to manage account-related requests, significantly reducing turnaround times and improving customer service. Similarly, the telecommunications sector has leveraged automation to enhance service delivery. Telenor Pakistan utilized RPA to streamline its complaint management system, cutting resolution times from minutes to mere seconds. The government is also taking active steps to drive digitalization through initiatives like the Digital Nation Pakistan Act 2025, which aims to modernize governance, the economy, and public services.

The partnership between akaBot and Contrivus is designed to capitalize on this momentum. By combining akaBot’s expertise in automation technologies with Contrivus’s deep knowledge of the local market and enterprise solutions, the collaboration will provide businesses with tailor-made automation solutions. These solutions will empower organizations to enhance operational efficiency, drive scalability, and adapt to the demands of an increasingly digital world.

Giap Bui Dinh, CEO of akaBot, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the potential impact on Pakistan’s business landscape.

“We are excited to partner with Contrivus to bring the power of intelligent automation to Pakistan’s dynamic industries. Our ecosystem, which includes RPA, agentic AI, IDP, and machine learning solutions, will be integrated with Contrivus’s robust IT infrastructure and market expertise to redefine efficiency and unlock new growth opportunities for businesses.”

Fawad Abdul Kader, CEO of Contrivus, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the significance of automation in Pakistan’s financial sector.

“Our collaboration with akaBot is a major step toward accelerating automation in banking, insurance, and investment firms. However, the potential extends beyond financial services. akaBot’s RPA solutions are applicable across industries such as supply chain, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and education. By leveraging Contrivus’s extensive experience in financial services and akaBot’s versatile automation capabilities, we aim to drive digital transformation across multiple sectors and unlock new efficiencies.”

The partnership also aligns with akaBot’s broader global strategy of expanding into key markets and supporting businesses in their digital transformation journey. With a presence in 21 countries and a customer base exceeding 4,000 enterprises, akaBot has established itself as a leader in automation solutions. Recognized as a 2024 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Robotics Process Automation and named a Major Contender by Everest Group’s RPA Products PEAK Matrix Assessment, akaBot continues to set industry benchmarks.

To kickstart this collaboration, akaBot and Contrivus plan to conduct a series of initiatives in the second quarter of 2025. These will include sales enablement programs, workshops, and seminars aimed at engaging key clients and industry stakeholders. Following this, a nationwide rollout will introduce automation solutions to businesses across Pakistan, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to fostering innovation and digital agility.

Contrivus, known for its expertise in robotic process automation and intelligent automation solutions, aims to be the preferred technology partner for businesses in the MENAP (Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan) region. Its mission is to help organizations optimize operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity through state-of-the-art automation technologies.

As Pakistan moves toward a more technology-driven economy, strategic collaborations like the one between akaBot and Contrivus are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of automation. The synergy between these two companies is poised to accelerate digital transformation, equip businesses with intelligent automation capabilities, and drive operational excellence across industries.
