The Department of Telecommunications Engineering and the Department of Electronic Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology made a splash at the recent 3rd Sindh Research and Technology Showcase organized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Sindh.

The showcase provided a platform for NEDUET to exhibit a variety of impressive projects developed by their esteemed faculty members. These projects aim to address real-world challenges and offer innovative solutions that benefit society.

One such solution is the IoT-based Air Quality Monitoring and Control System. This robust, scalable, and customizable system monitors critical air quality parameters for indoor and outdoor environments. It can be a valuable tool for maintaining healthy air quality in homes, workplaces, and public spaces.

Another innovative project is the All Digital Transmitter. This fully reconfigurable transmitter offers flexibility in wireless standard, bandwidth, and efficiency. Additionally, it features efficient power amplification for extended battery life, potentially revolutionizing wireless communication.

For the electric vehicle sector, NEDUET showcased the Dynamic Swap Station Electric Vehicle Charger. This charger adapts to the specific needs of the connected battery, ensuring optimal charging and potentially increasing battery lifespan. This advancement could significantly improve electric vehicle adoption.

In the realm of energy management, NEDUET presented INSTRUX, an intelligent cloud-based energy monitoring solution. INSTRUX provides a unified approach to energy management, allowing organizations to gain real-time insights into their energy flow and consumption patterns. This data facilitates informed decision-making to optimize energy usage.

The showcase also featured IoT Enabled Smart Ground Birds Farming Solutions. This project introduces smart bird farming cages equipped with automated systems for feeding, watering, and cleaning. The cages also offer remote monitoring and control functionalities, enabling efficient and improved bird farming practices.

Rounding out the impressive display was the Smart Fan. This innovative fan prioritizes both efficient performance and user comfort. The smart fan adjusts to user preferences and surrounding conditions, minimizing energy consumption while delivering optimal airflow.

These projects are a testament to the dedication and talent of NEDUET’s faculty. Their commitment to developing innovative solutions holds great promise for addressing contemporary challenges and improving the lives of people across Pakistan.
