This service is called VIP Cash and it allows visually impaired customers to plug in an audio jack in the ATM and using voice command withdraw cash or check balance. It is very simple and user-friendly and it will add more customers for the banking sector as there are more than 2 million visually challenged people in Pakistan. VIP Cash Solution will allow them to be a part of financial sector autonomously.
It has just begun in Pakistan while such solutions are provided by western organizations on a very huge scale. Currently, this solution has been deployed in Standard Chartered Bank only. However, there are other banks that are also looking forward to provide such innovative services to their customers and very soon you will be able to see a significant increase in the number of tech-solutions that are solving real life problems in Pakistan.
