Becomes Pakistan’s first cricket franchise to enter the market; proceeds from auction go toward helping flood victims. Quetta Gladiator is Pakistan’s first cricket team to ever enter the Web3 and has launched its first digital artwork for auction to raise money for the country’s flood victims.
For the release of their first-ever digital collectible, Quetta Gladiators teamed up with HashPotato, a business that aids other brands in entering Web3 and exploring new technologies to scale their businesses. At OpenSea, a three-dimensional painting of a bat called “Purple Sword” is up for auction. The auction date has not yet been made public.
The proceeds from the auction will be used to aid Pakistan flood victims, and the highest bidder will also receive utilities, including a physical bat that has been signed by the entire Quetta Gladiators team.
Along with Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shahid Afridi, the Quetta Gladiators will receive three free mint slots for the upcoming digital collections, one free VIP ticket for each season of the Pakistan Super League, one free team shirt for each season of the Pakistan Super League, and special mention on all of their social media accounts.
As they create the largest Cricket x Web3 community, interested bidders and supporters should join their discord: HashPotato and Quetta Gladiators intend to collaborate in the future. They plan to release entire collections after this auction is over in order to satisfy the needs of cricket fans and digital collectible enthusiasts.
