Zong has received two awards at the Asian Experience Awards 2026, earning recognition for its telecommunications and digital experience initiatives at an award ceremony held in Singapore. The company received the Pakistan Brand Experience of the Year [Telecommunications] award for its My5 Family Sharing Package Campaign, while its My Zong App Campaign won the Pakistan Digital Experience of the Year [Telecommunications] award. According to the company, the recognition makes Zong the first Pakistani brand to receive recognition at the regional awards platform.

The My5 Family Sharing Package was recognized for its approach to connected households, combining connectivity with additional services. The package includes embedded insurance coverage, lifestyle benefits and digital streaming access, providing customers with a package designed around multiple household requirements. Zong has positioned the offering as an alternative for families seeking connectivity and additional digital services through a single package, with the campaign focusing on how telecom services can be combined with other consumer benefits.

The second award was presented for the My Zong App, which Zong describes as an AI-powered integrated digital ecosystem. The application brings together several customer-facing services, including self-service features, embedded digital payments, loyalty functions and AI-powered support. The company said the platform is designed to provide customers with a unified digital experience, allowing them to manage services and access different features through the application. The award recognition reflects the campaign’s focus on digital customer journeys and the use of technology to expand services beyond conventional telecom functions.

Zong’s Head of Marketing, Sajid Munir, said the two awards represent a significant milestone for the company and highlighted the role of technology, customer insight and artificial intelligence in its experience strategy. The company said the recognition is linked to its “Aisa Hai Future” brand promise and its wider investment in 5G, AI and next-generation products and services. Zong has also recently received recognition in Pakistan for network performance, with PTA’s Q2 2026 benchmarking report showing the operator recording the highest national 4G download and upload speeds among the operators measured by Opensignal.
