Zong Leads PTA Quality Of Service Rankings In Pakistan For Q4 2025

Zong has once again secured the top position among mobile network operators in Pakistan, according to the latest Quality of Service survey conducted by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for the fourth quarter of 2025. The assessment evaluated the real world performance of mobile networks across the country and placed Zong ahead of its competitors in multiple performance indicators that measure user experience on mobile data services.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority conducted the survey over a 90 day period from October 1 to December 29, 2025. The report is based on more than 1.25 billion samples collected from users across 161 districts nationwide. The survey measures several key indicators including download speed, upload speed, video experience, games experience, and time on network. At the national level, the average download speed across all devices was recorded at 18.60 megabits per second, while high end devices achieved an average of 30.80 megabits per second.

In operator rankings for download speed, Zong secured first place with an average speed of 18.24 megabits per second. Jazz followed in second place with 17.58 megabits per second while Ufone ranked third with 12.18 megabits per second. Telenor placed fourth with 6.55 megabits per second. Upload speed results also placed Zong at the top with 7.09 megabits per second. Jazz recorded an average of 6.42 megabits per second while Ufone and Telenor followed with 3.88 and 2.27 megabits per second respectively. The national average upload speed during the survey period was recorded at 5.59 megabits per second.

In other categories of the report, Jazz achieved first place in the video experience segment with a score of 46.52 on a scale of zero to one hundred. Zong followed closely with 46.21 while Ufone recorded 42.56 and Telenor achieved 34.93. In games experience, Ufone led with a score of 47.94 followed by Zong with 42.56. Jazz recorded 39.25 while Telenor ranked fourth with 37.26 in this category.

The survey also evaluated time on network which measures the proportion of time users remain connected to mobile data services. Zong secured first place with 96.47 percent network availability, followed by Jazz with 92.89 percent and Ufone with 92.55 percent. Telenor recorded 91.55 percent while the national average stood at 93.64 percent. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority noted that the survey reflects end to end user experience and provides a comparative view of mobile network performance across Pakistan.
