Zong 4G, Pakistan’s leading telecommunication company, has joined forces with the Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS) to inaugurate a state-of-the-art Digital Lab at the FAS School in Noor Muhammad Goth, near Karachi.

Part of Zong 4G’s Sustainability Program, this partnership is geared towards providing students in marginalized areas with cutting-edge technological systems, empowering their digital skills, and opening doors to the digital world. The FAS School, currently catering to 120 students, is actively expanding its reach to ensure the delivery of high-quality education to an even larger student population.

HANDS, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing healthcare and education systems, alleviating poverty, and building infrastructure in Pakistan, shares the vision of Zong 4G in bridging the digital gap. Together, they aim to offer students unrestricted digital access to foster knowledge and enable them to excel in the digital realm.

The school, which previously faced challenges in delivering digital access to students, is now optimistic about the positive impact of the newly established digital lab. This facility is expected to facilitate a more seamless and enjoyable educational experience for the students.

Commenting on the collaboration, the official spokesperson for Zong 4G stated,

“Zong 4G considers the support and development of educational institutions in Pakistan as a primary commitment. Aligned with our Sustainability Program, the initiative is designed to advance societal well-being in the country. Through this partnership with HANDS, we aim to enhance digital education, making the digital realm more accessible for students.”
