Karachi witnessed the official debut of Yango, the international tech company’s ride-hailing service, earlier this month, marking a significant milestone in the city’s transportation landscape. A commemorative ceremony held at Governor House, Karachi, celebrated Yango’s expansion to the metropolis after successfully establishing operations in major cities of Punjab.

With a reputation for providing dependable, safe, and affordable services, Yango aims to become the preferred choice for everyday transportation needs in Karachi. The launch event, attended by prominent figures from the public and private sectors, featured Mr. Kamran Tessori, the Governor of Sindh, as the Chief Guest, who welcomed Yango to Karachi and praised the arrival of an internationally renowned digital service.

Expressing excitement about Yango’s entry into Karachi, Faisal Iftekhar, Country Manager for Yango, stated, “This marks a significant milestone in our journey, bringing the convenience and efficiency of Yango’s innovative services to the business capital of Pakistan.” He emphasized that Yango is not just launching a service but becoming an integral part of Karachi’s dynamic fabric, contributing to its energy and growth.

Yango, operating in over 20 countries globally, including the UAE, Norway, Finland, Bolivia, Peru, Morocco, and Algeria, is making strides in introducing cutting-edge transportation solutions to the Pakistani economy. The Karachi launch follows successful introductions in Lahore, the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and Faisalabad.

Yango’s primary objective in Pakistan is to make safe and budget-friendly transportation accessible to people from all walks of life, while also creating earning opportunities for drivers. The service plans to continue its operations and expand further into the country, maintaining affordability, reliability, and safety as core values.
