Yahoo! Is a web services providers wholly owned by Verizon Communications, and holds the title of being one of the pioneers of the early internet era in 1990.

 

About 13 years back in 2005 on the 20th of March, Yahoo! acquired the company Ludicorp along with its popular photo-sharing app Flickr, a popular website for users to share and embed personal photographs, and effectively an online community, the service is also widely used by photo researchers and by bloggers to host images that they embed in blogs and social media.

 

Furthermore, according to a report by The Verge on March 2013 that Flickr has a total of 87 million registered members and more than 3.5 million new images uploaded daily.
