TechNova 2025 is emerging as one of the most engaging platforms for students, tech enthusiasts, and young entrepreneurs to test their ideas, compete in emerging tech spaces, and showcase their talents. Organized by the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), this year’s edition promises a diverse lineup of activities across seven core modules, each designed to foster future-facing skills and innovation.

With a strong focus on practical application and problem-solving, TechNova brings together academia, startups, and digital communities in one unified space. The event offers participants a chance to compete in Final Year Project showcases, where engineering and computer science students present real-world solutions developed as part of their academic journey. These projects are judged by industry professionals and academic experts, giving students valuable exposure and feedback.

TechNova also includes a dedicated Startup Launchpad, encouraging early-stage entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of mentors and investors. This opportunity helps young innovators validate their ideas, get industry insights, and build networks that can lead to real-world impact. The event nurtures entrepreneurial thinking, pushing participants to move beyond concepts and into executable models.

Another key module this year is Prompt Engineering, reflecting the rise of generative AI and its relevance to coding, design, and digital creativity. Participants are given challenges that test their ability to design prompts for AI models to generate desired outputs. This introduces students and professionals to one of the fastest-growing areas in modern tech practice, encouraging experimentation and creativity with AI tools.

For those with a competitive gaming edge, TechNova 2025 offers a full-scale E-sports module. Featuring popular titles and structured tournaments, the segment attracts a strong gaming community and reflects the expanding role of digital games in tech culture. The E-sports component not only adds energy to the event but also connects students with gaming industry professionals and streamers.

Other modules within TechNova include coding challenges, product design competitions, and tech debates—all created to simulate real-world problem-solving scenarios in a collaborative environment. Each module is curated to ensure that participants gain practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to emerging trends in technology and innovation.

Hosted at IoBM, the event provides access to mentors, thought leaders, and experienced technologists who contribute to the learning and competitive experience. The campus transforms into a hub for idea exchange, skill development, and early innovation, creating a memorable experience for participants and spectators alike.

TechNova continues to be a vibrant intersection of technology, creativity, and collaboration, offering something of value for every innovator—whether they are coders, gamers, designers, founders, or students. With its mix of competitions, learning opportunities, and entrepreneurial energy, it serves as a strong example of how educational institutions are increasingly playing a central role in cultivating future tech leaders.
