Walee 4Thrives has secured a place in the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2026 after delivering a strong performance in the Group Stage at the Esports World Cup in Paris. The Pakistani squad finished at the top of Group A following 12 matches, securing a direct qualification spot for the Grand Finals and keeping Pakistan represented among the leading teams competing at the international tournament. The Grand Finals are scheduled to take place from August 14 to August 16, where 16 teams will compete for the PMWC title.

Walee 4Thrives finished the Group A stage with 107 points, including 80 elimination points, according to tournament standings shared by the Pakistani esports community. The team’s performance was particularly notable for its aggressive approach across the matches, allowing it to accumulate a substantial number of elimination points and finish ahead of several international competitors. Orangutan placed second with 91 points, while Aurora Gaming and Team Flash followed with 90 and 89 points respectively. Despite not securing a Chicken Dinner during the 12 match Group Stage, Walee 4Thrives maintained enough consistency through eliminations and placement points to finish first and secure its place in the final stage.

The qualification follows a significant period for the Pakistani roster, which entered the Esports World Cup after winning the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2026. Walee acquired the reigning PMGO champions in July ahead of the Esports World Cup, giving the team additional backing as it prepared for the international competition in Paris. The acquisition also marked Walee’s expansion into competitive gaming and esports, with the company supporting the roster alongside Quick TopUps and BigBaat. The team’s latest performance now gives it an opportunity to compete against some of the strongest PUBG Mobile squads at the Grand Finals.

The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 features 32 teams in its Group Stage, divided into two groups of 16. The top five teams from each group qualify directly for the Grand Finals, while teams finishing from sixth to thirteenth move into the Survival Stage for another opportunity to reach the final round. The remaining teams are eliminated from the tournament. With Walee 4Thrives finishing at the top of Group A, the Pakistani roster has bypassed the Survival Stage and secured its place among the 16 teams scheduled to compete in the Grand Finals. The final stage will feature up to 18 matches across three days, with teams competing under a Match Point format that can determine the champion before all scheduled matches are completed.
