USF has significantly expanded telecommunication services across Pakistan’s rural and remote areas over the past five years. The organization has invested a substantial Rs. 79.1 billion in 85 projects to bridge the digital divide.

A primary focus has been on providing 3G and 4G services, with 67 projects worth Rs. 51.4 billion implemented. This has resulted in the installation of 2,600 telecom towers, improving connectivity on major highways and motorways, and bringing telecommunications to 27 tourist destinations.

USF has also laid a strong foundation for future digital growth by investing Rs. 27.7 billion in 18 optical fiber cable projects, spanning 10,260 kilometers. This infrastructure will connect over 926 union councils and towns.

As a result of these efforts, 24.2 million people across 12,600 mauzas now have access to improved telecommunication services. USF’s initiatives are expected to drive economic growth and social development in previously underserved areas of Pakistan.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
