Since Apple stormed into our lives its products have somehow appealed to us all in some shape and form. One of their newest devices The Apple Smart Watch is the talk of the Tech-Town these days. CEO Apple, Tim Cook revealed the Apple Watch last fall. Its Apple’s first initiative into a new product category since 2010’s iPad, to be launched on 9th March 2015 at Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco and hit the market in early April.
It is said to offer more independent features than were previously announced. This Sapphire-coated, iPhone compatible watch isn’t a regular circular smartwatch but sports a premium rectangular design with round off corners. It’s not just a pretty watch face but a powerful gadget that works flawlessly with iOS 8 devices including the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
The watch will have 34 different configurations to choose from with two available sizes of 38mm and 42mm. The device is said to be charged daily and price starts at US $349.
The apps in the Apple Watch includes iMessage, Health, Calendar, Weather, Mail, Photos, Camera’s shutter button, Passbook that now includes Apple Pay and even Apple Maps for navigation.
Apple has ordered 6 to 9 million Apple Watches from its Chinese suppliers according to a news report and predicts sales of at least 10 million in its first year.
