The meeting focused on several technology-based measures, including the rollout of Student IDs, Chromebooks, and teacher certifications, as Punjab continues to explore ways to integrate digital tools into its education system.
The discussions centered on the implementation of Student IDs as part of efforts to create a more connected education environment across schools. Digital identification systems can help educational authorities organize student information and support more structured management of learners within the education system. The meeting also covered the rollout of Chromebooks, which can provide students and educators with access to digital learning resources, online educational platforms, and productivity tools. The availability of such devices can support classroom activities as well as learning beyond traditional textbooks, depending on how they are deployed across schools.
Teacher certifications were another key area discussed during the meeting.
