Lahore: Leading figures from Pakistan’s technology sector gathered at the CWPK 40 – Premier Tech Leadership Roundtable held at ITCN Asia ’24 Lahore to discuss the nation’s digital transformation journey and strategize a collaborative roadmap for future growth. The event brought together 40 prominent individuals representing diverse segments of the tech ecosystem.

Identifying Opportunities and Challenges

The roundtable discussion focused on Pakistan’s current position in the digital economy landscape. While IT exports are experiencing significant growth, concerns were raised regarding the decline in startup investments during the first quarter of 2024.   • CISO from Faysal Bank, Bank of Punjab and Askari Bank, and COO Covalent that powers all major banks and fintechs in Pakistan 
  • National Incubation Centers representation Hyderabad, Peshawar, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and private incubators like BNU and UCP, and Accelerate Prosperity powered by AKDN
  • New age technical skills training institutes like AshreiTech Academy @ NASTP based in Karachi Lahore and Islamabad, and Knowledge Streams led by the imminent Dr Sohail Naqvi.
