Sybrid, a Lakson Group company, announced that it has collaborated with the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) of Pak-Austria Fachhochschule in areas of mutual interest. This includes AI, computer science, engineering, and nanotechnology, among others. Sybrid will also set up a research and development activity at the institute’s existing Artificial Intelligence Centre.
On September 17, 2020, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated PAF-IAST. This initiative was undertaken by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to set up a state-of-the-art technology institute with the help of the governments of Austria and China.
Governor KP, Chief Minister KP, government officials, Federal and Provincial Ministers, business owners, and other stakeholders participated in the case.
During the inauguration ceremony Mr. Ather Imran Nawaz, CEO of Sybrid Private Limited, represented the Lakson Group.
