Sindh’s education sector marked a significant milestone as three boards jointly announced their first-ever e-marking results for SSC Part I and HSC Part I annual exams 2025. The results were revealed at a ceremony in Sukkur, attended by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahu, along with the chairmen of Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Larkana boards. Teachers, students, and parents participated in the event, witnessing the launch of the province’s new digital evaluation system, which aims to ensure fairness, transparency, and efficiency in examination processes.

Minister Rahu highlighted that the introduction of the e-marking system had significantly reduced human error and the potential for biased evaluations. The modern digital framework allows examiners to input and verify results electronically, creating a more transparent and accurate process. Rahu emphasized that the provincial government intends to expand this system across all Sindh education boards by 2026, moving toward a complete e-assessment model. This transition is expected to streamline results processing and enhance accountability while ensuring timely declaration of student performance.

The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of position holders, with Rahu personally congratulating top-performing students and distributing shields and prizes as recognition for their academic excellence. Chairmen of the three boards presented the minister with traditional Sindhi gifts, including a cap, Ajrak, and a commemorative shield, reflecting appreciation for the government’s efforts to modernize the examination system and embrace technological innovation. Officials noted that the e-marking initiative would serve as a foundation for further reforms in education evaluation and management throughout the province.

By adopting the e-marking system, Sindh’s education boards are positioning themselves as leaders in digital assessment within Pakistan. The system not only enhances accuracy and reliability but also provides a replicable model for other provinces looking to modernize their examination frameworks. Experts believe that full implementation of e-assessment across Sindh will improve student confidence in results, reduce administrative delays, and strengthen the overall integrity of public examinations, contributing to a more efficient and merit-based educational ecosystem in the province.
