Serena Green Expo is calling on creative minds, environmental pioneers, and sustainability champions to submit their groundbreaking ideas aimed at making a tangible difference in the fight against climate change. The expo invites eco-friendly innovators to showcase their products that can be integrated into the tourism supply chain, focusing on sustainable solutions such as biodegradable utensils, eco-packaging, water purification systems, and alternative energy solutions. This initiative offers a unique platform for green startups and sustainability-focused businesses to present their ideas to a wider audience, highlighting the importance of innovation in the quest for a cleaner, greener future.

The Serena Green Expo seeks products and concepts that are not just ideas but tangible, demonstrable solutions that can be applied in real-world settings. Prototypes or physical models are highly encouraged to give judges and visitors a clear understanding of the product’s functionality and potential impact. The competition is open to a variety of sustainable products that aim to minimize waste, promote eco-friendliness, and use materials that are both sustainable and environmentally responsible. By encouraging creativity in these areas, the expo hopes to inspire the tourism industry and other sectors to adopt green solutions that will help mitigate environmental damage.

To apply for the expo, participants are required to submit a written proposal that includes a detailed product description, potential use cases, industry relevance, and the viability of manufacturing the product at scale. High-quality photos and videos showcasing the product are also necessary to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept. It is essential that all submissions align with the Serena Green Expo’s sustainability goals, which focus on reducing environmental harm and creating a positive, lasting impact. The organizers are particularly interested in innovations that offer practical solutions to real-world environmental challenges, ensuring that the products not only contribute to sustainability but are also feasible and scalable.

All entries must be original work, as plagiarism will lead to disqualification. Finalists will be selected to present their ideas in person at the Serena Green Expo, where they will have the opportunity to explain their product’s concept, its environmental impact, and its feasibility to a panel of experts and attendees. This is a rare chance for entrepreneurs to network with industry leaders, NGOs, and other experts in the sustainability field, opening doors for collaboration and potential partnerships that could further the impact of their innovations.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, Serena Hotels encourages participants to collaborate with experts, NGOs, or institutions to strengthen their proposals and ensure their products align with broader environmental goals. The jury will evaluate submissions based on innovation, sustainability, practicality, and the quality of the presentation, ensuring that the most impactful ideas are given a platform to thrive.

All product proposals must be submitted by February 5, 2025. Late entries will not be accepted, so participants are urged to prepare their submissions ahead of the deadline. Serena Hotels reserves the right to use submitted content for promotional purposes, with due credit given to the creators. This provides additional visibility for innovators whose ideas are selected, potentially leading to further opportunities in the sustainability space.

For those interested in participating, the submission portal can be accessed at Serena Green Expo Submission Portal. For further inquiries or clarifications, prospective participants can email publicdiplomacy@serena.com.pk.

This is a fantastic opportunity for green startups to not only showcase their innovations but also to contribute to a larger movement towards sustainability in the tourism industry and beyond. The Serena Green Expo promises to be a key event for entrepreneurs and innovators dedicated to creating a better, more sustainable world.
