Participants of the Senior Management Course from Provincial Services Academy Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited the National Information Technology Board during their inland study tour to receive a detailed briefing on the organization’s role in advancing digital transformation across Pakistan. The visit brought together senior government officers from technical departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, providing them with an opportunity to understand how digital technologies are being used to modernize public sector operations and improve service delivery across the country.

The visiting officers, serving in Basic Scale Nineteen positions within provincial departments, were briefed on the key initiatives and digital platforms developed by National Information Technology Board to support electronic governance and digital public services. Officials from the organization highlighted ongoing efforts to develop technology driven solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and coordination within government institutions. The briefing also focused on how centralized digital platforms are being used to streamline administrative processes and provide citizens with easier access to government services.

During the session, representatives of National Information Technology Board presented an overview of several digital initiatives designed to strengthen electronic governance and promote the use of technology in public administration. These initiatives form part of the broader national strategy aimed at building a digitally enabled public sector where government institutions can operate through integrated technology systems. The officers were introduced to various digital platforms developed to support data driven decision making, improve institutional coordination, and deliver citizen focused services through modern digital channels.

Participants of the Senior Management Course expressed appreciation for the initiatives undertaken by National Information Technology Board and acknowledged the importance of digital innovation in strengthening governance frameworks. The visiting officers noted that the adoption of digital platforms within government institutions can contribute to more efficient administrative systems while supporting transparency and accountability in public sector operations.

Officials involved in the interaction stated that such engagements help strengthen collaboration between federal digital institutions and provincial administrations. By exposing senior officers to ongoing digital initiatives, the government aims to encourage wider adoption of technology driven governance models across different regions of the country. The visit also reflects continued efforts to support the vision of Digital Pakistan by promoting innovation in governance and equipping public sector leaders with insights into emerging digital tools for improved public service delivery.
