Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation smartwatch lineup later this month, with the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 likely to debut during the company’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. According to multiple leaks, Samsung is preparing to introduce three wearable models, including the standard Galaxy Watch 9, Galaxy Watch 9 Classic and the premium Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. While the overall design is expected to remain familiar, the new lineup is tipped to receive meaningful hardware upgrades, improved battery life and enhanced AI-powered health features.

The Galaxy Watch 9 series is expected to feature larger batteries across the lineup, addressing one of the biggest requests from smartwatch users. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is rumored to receive a significantly larger battery that could deliver multiple days of use on a single charge, while improvements to the processor are expected to boost performance and power efficiency. Samsung is also likely to introduce updated watch faces, redesigned straps and refinements to One UI Watch, offering a smoother software experience alongside new wellness and productivity features.

Health and artificial intelligence are expected to remain central to Samsung’s wearable strategy. Leaks suggest the new watches will expand AI-assisted health tracking, fitness insights and personalized coaching while continuing to offer advanced sleep monitoring, heart rate tracking, ECG functionality and body composition analysis. These enhancements are expected to integrate more closely with Samsung’s broader Galaxy ecosystem, allowing users to access smarter health recommendations and connected device experiences.

Pricing is expected to increase slightly compared to the current generation, reflecting the anticipated hardware upgrades and expanded feature set. Although Samsung has yet to officially confirm specifications or pricing, the Galaxy Watch 9 lineup is shaping up to be one of the company’s most significant wearable launches in recent years, targeting both everyday users and outdoor enthusiasts with improved performance, battery life and AI capabilities.
