Samsung is preparing to launch its next flagship tablet lineup, the Galaxy Tab S11 series, later in 2025. The company has been a leader in the Android tablet space for over a decade, offering one of the strongest alternatives to Apple’s iPad. Following the release of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra, which impressed with premium displays and performance, expectations are high for the upcoming models.
A Samsung executive in South Africa confirmed in July 2025 that an announcement is coming “shortly” and will follow the company’s usual release pattern. Historically, Galaxy Tab S devices have launched between August and September, with recent speculation pointing to a release in the autumn months. Certification sightings for the Tab S11 Ultra in China and Europe suggest the launch is close. This generation may feature only two flagship models — the regular Tab S11 and the Tab S11 Ultra — with the Plus model absent. There are also reports of a more affordable Tab S10 Lite joining the lineup.
Pricing details have yet to be confirmed, but based on the Galaxy Tab S10 series, the Tab S11 could start near £999/$999, while the Ultra model may remain around £1,199/$1,199. Any significant hardware or display upgrades could push prices higher.
Design leaks indicate that the Tab S11 Ultra will closely resemble its predecessor, with subtle changes such as a smaller notch housing a single front-facing camera, larger rear camera sensors, and the removal of the magnetic S Pen strip on the back. Premium build materials like Armour Aluminium and IP68 water and dust resistance are expected. While the Ultra may retain its 14.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the regular Tab S11’s screen size is still unconfirmed, with possibilities ranging from 11 inches to 12.4 inches.
Performance upgrades will likely come from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with microSD expansion. This follows Samsung’s recent shift from Qualcomm processors in its flagship tablets. The S11 series is expected to run One UI 8 based on Android 16, with seven years of update support, and could introduce additional multitasking and S Pen features.
Camera capabilities are not the primary focus for tablets, but Samsung may refine the hardware with improved sensors and AI-powered enhancements. The Tab S11 Ultra could drop the ultrawide front camera, potentially limiting some of the versatility seen in the S10 Ultra.
Battery upgrades are also on the cards, with the Tab S11 Ultra rumored to feature up to 11,600mAh capacity and the regular model around 8,400mAh. Both are expected to maintain 45W wired charging support. While official details remain limited, certification leaks and early testing suggest Samsung is fine-tuning the Galaxy Tab S11 series for performance, display quality, and long-term software support.
In Pakistan, industry sources suggest that the Galaxy Tab S11 series will make its debut by the end of September 2025, likely aligning with Samsung’s global rollout. Unofficial price estimates place the Wi-Fi model at around ₨ 219,999, with cellular variants starting near ₨ 235,000 and premium configurations reaching up to ₨ 260,000. Final pricing and availability will be confirmed closer to launch by Samsung Pakistan and its authorized retail partners.
