DGPR Punjab Rubina Afzal has unveiled groundbreaking plans to revolutionize media monitoring with artificial intelligence (AI) integration, alongside the formulation of Punjab’s inaugural cyber advertising policy.
During her visit to Islamabad’s Directorate of Electronic Media and Publication (DEMP) and the Press Information Department’s (PID) Cyber Wing, Afzal conducted a thorough inspection of key facilities, accompanied by DEMP Director General Imrana Wazir and PID Cyber Wing’s DG Waqar Siddiqui.
Afzal emphasized the importance of modernizing media monitoring practices to meet contemporary needs, highlighting the intention to utilize AI technology for electronic media monitoring. PID officials briefed her on electronic media and social media monitoring.
