Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has secured two awards at the Dragons of Asia Awards 2026, recognising its social impact and marketing campaigns. The company’s Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar initiative received a Bronze Dragon in the Best in Digital category, while its Mother’s Day: More Support for Mothers campaign won a Black Dragon in Marketing Discipline. The recognition highlights PTCL’s use of digital technology and communications to support social causes and address community needs beyond conventional telecom services.

Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar focuses on improving women’s socioeconomic opportunities through digital inclusion, skills development and entrepreneurship. The initiative has expanded to 22 flood-affected districts across Pakistan, aiming to help women develop skills and access opportunities that can contribute to greater economic independence. By connecting digital access with skills training and entrepreneurial support, the programme seeks to create pathways for women in communities affected by flooding and other economic challenges.

PTCL’s Mother’s Day: More Support for Mothers campaign focused on encouraging practical family support and greater understanding of the challenges faced by mothers, particularly women experiencing postpartum depression. Rather than limiting the message to traditional Mother’s Day greetings, the campaign sought to promote empathy and awareness of maternal wellbeing. PTCL Chief Marketing Officer Amad Khan said the company values initiatives that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and contribute to a more inclusive digital future.

The Dragons of Asia Awards recognise marketing communications campaigns across the region, with entries assessed by international judging panels on strategy, creative concept, execution and results. PTCL’s latest recognition follows its performance at the Dragons of Pakistan Awards 2026, where the company received five awards for campaigns including Pakistan Ki Pehchan, Dil Se Ba-Ikhtiar, its Mother’s Day campaign and its World Education Day campaign. The awards add to PTCL’s recognition for using communications and digital access to support social development initiatives across Pakistan.
