PTA Receives A Deposit of Rs. 6 Billion For The Spectrum That Was Given To Ufone.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has received a further deposit for the spectrum allocated to Ufone through an auction held in 2021 in the value of Rs. 6.17 billion ($27.92 million).

The amount has accordingly been deposited in the Federal Consolidated Fund, according to a statement released by the telecom authority (FCF).

With this FCF deposit, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s total FCF deposits for the current fiscal year 2022–23 (FY23) are up to Rs. 29.15 billion, or $134 million.
