The renowned D’UnS® Number database maintained by Dun & Bradstreet, a leading global provider of commercial data, analytics, and insights for businesses, has surpassed 500 million records in the Dun & Bradstreet Data Cloud.

A unique 9-digit identifier for enterprises is the D-U-N-S® Number.

Data Universal Numbering System, or D-U-N-S®, is used to maintain current and timely information on more than 500 million businesses worldwide, including nearly 100,000 businesses in Pakistan.

Worldwide, firms can be identified and their information accessed using their D-U-N-S® Number. It identifies a company’s business profile, and the data it contains can assist prospective clients, lenders, suppliers, and partners in learning about a business and making knowledgeable decisions about doing business with them.

Governments and businesses all over the world rely on the D-U-N-S® Number to confirm a company’s credibility.
According to Nauman Lakhani, Country Manager of Dun & Bradstreet in Pakistan,

“Companies have been using the D-U-N-S® Number for decades to become credible and visible, find trustworthy businesses to work with, and become the foundation stone of an identity and business profile that drives business performance.”

“The organization has reached a remarkable milestone by amassing 500 million business records, a figure unrivalled worldwide. This demonstrates our leadership position in the market and how we help our clients use data.”
