Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) awarded the trophy to the winners of its Inter-Departmental Football League 2025, marking the successful conclusion of a week-long sporting event held in Islamabad. The league, which ran from 30 September to 9 October 2025, featured eight departmental teams and highlighted PTA’s commitment to promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a healthy work culture among employees.

The tournament served as an opportunity for staff members to participate in a shared activity beyond their professional responsibilities, fostering camaraderie and a spirit of fair play across departments. The competition brought together officials and employees in a friendly yet competitive environment, allowing them to connect in new ways and strengthen their sense of unity within the organization. PTA emphasized that such initiatives encourage personal wellbeing while reinforcing professional cooperation, which ultimately contributes to a more motivated and efficient workforce.

Chairman PTA congratulated the winning team and appreciated the outstanding sportsmanship and teamwork displayed throughout the event. He acknowledged the organizers and participants for their dedication in making the league a success and for helping create an environment that encourages both professional excellence and physical wellbeing. He added that PTA remains committed to fostering activities that enhance employee morale, motivation, and collaboration across all levels of the authority.

The Inter-Departmental Football League 2025 was part of PTA’s ongoing efforts to integrate health and wellness into workplace culture. Beyond competition, it reflected the organization’s broader focus on employee development, engagement, and performance. By promoting sportsmanship and teamwork, PTA continues to strengthen the bonds among its workforce, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports productivity and mutual respect. Events like this highlight how institutional sports programs can contribute to stronger organizational unity, shaping a collaborative culture that benefits both employees and the telecom sector at large.
