Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) successfully concluded its Inter-Departmental Football League 2025 in Islamabad, bringing together teams from across its departments to celebrate teamwork, collaboration, and employee wellbeing. The tournament, held from 30 September to 9 October 2025, showcased not only athletic skill but also the spirit of sportsmanship that defines the organization’s workplace culture.

The event featured eight departmental teams competing in a friendly yet competitive environment. It served as a platform for employees to engage outside their daily professional routines, promoting stronger inter-departmental relationships and a shared sense of community. PTA emphasized that initiatives like this are an important part of its efforts to maintain a motivated, high-performing workforce that values health, collaboration, and balance in the workplace.

Chairman PTA congratulated the winners and appreciated the outstanding sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament. He also commended the organizing committee for their efforts in creating an environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and respect among colleagues. The initiative reflects PTA’s broader approach to employee engagement—integrating wellness, recreation, and performance as complementary elements of organizational culture.

Events like the Inter-Departmental Football League underline how workplace wellbeing contributes to productivity and team spirit in public institutions. Through this league, PTA reaffirmed its commitment to promoting healthy sports activities among its employees, ensuring a more connected and positive work environment. By investing in initiatives that go beyond conventional office activities, PTA continues to strengthen its internal culture, supporting the idea that teamwork and wellbeing are key drivers of sustained success in the digital era.
