PASHA’s Startups and Entrepreneurship Committee recently hosted an exclusive members-only interactive session featuring Ahmad Awais, Founder and CEO of Langbase, based in San Francisco, USA. The session, held on December 17, was facilitated by Usman Akbar, Chair of P@SHA Startups & Entrepreneurship Committee and P@SHA CEC Member, and brought together founders, CTOs, and technology leaders from Pakistan’s vibrant tech ecosystem. Over nearly four hours, participants engaged in in-depth discussions and practical insights into AI product development, AI infrastructure, and the tools necessary to build successful AI solutions.

The session emphasized real-world applications of AI, exploring the challenges and opportunities faced by startups when developing AI-driven products. Ahmad Awais shared insights from his experience building Langbase, highlighting best practices, strategic considerations, and key resources for AI development. Attendees were encouraged to exchange ideas, ask questions, and seek guidance on technical and operational aspects of AI integration, which resulted in a dynamic and highly productive dialogue. The interactive Q&A segment enabled participants to discuss their projects, seek advice on AI infrastructure, and gain clarity on technical hurdles, providing actionable knowledge that could be applied to their own ventures.

P@SHA members found the session to be a valuable opportunity to connect with a global AI expert while discussing the local context of the tech industry in Pakistan. By fostering engagement between entrepreneurs and experienced technology leaders, the event created an environment that supports knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation within the startup ecosystem. The session also provided a platform to explore networking opportunities, establish partnerships, and strengthen connections across Pakistan’s growing technology community. Attendees were able to gain insights not only on AI tools and processes but also on broader trends in the global technology landscape that could inform strategic decisions for their businesses.

The event was supported by BearPlex, a custom software development company, which sponsored the session, and National Incubation Center Lahore, which served as the venue partner. P@SHA expressed gratitude to all members for their active participation, noting that engagement from startups, technology leaders, and committee members was central to the success of the session. Events like this reinforce the role of P@SHA in promoting entrepreneurship, technological advancement, and innovation across Pakistan. By providing access to international expertise and fostering practical learning, P@SHA continues to build bridges between global technology trends and local startup growth, helping entrepreneurs develop solutions that can compete regionally and internationally.
