Pakistan Software Export Board is calling on call center operators across the country to formalise their businesses through PSEB registration, offering a package of exclusive benefits designed to make compliance commercially attractive while giving registered operators access to infrastructure and support that unregistered businesses cannot access.

The benefits available to PSEB-registered call centers are directly tied to the operational challenges that the sector faces most acutely. Subsidised training and certifications allow companies to upskill their teams without bearing the full cost of professional development programmes, while secure VPN services address the connectivity reliability that international clients increasingly demand as a baseline requirement for outsourcing partnerships. VoIP approvals through PTA, processed on behalf of registered companies, ensure that call centers operate on compliant, smooth telephony infrastructure rather than the informal arrangements that expose unregistered operators to regulatory risk and service disruptions. For operators serving international clients, the combination of PTA-approved VoIP and secure VPN connectivity is particularly significant, as it directly affects the quality and reliability of the service being delivered.

The registration drive is being promoted in partnership with Markaz Industry Facilitation, and sits within the broader Tech Destination Pakistan framework under the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication. For Pakistan’s call center and business process outsourcing sector, which employs tens of thousands of people and represents a meaningful component of the country’s IT-enabled services export base, PSEB registration is the gateway to operating with the credibility and compliance that international clients require. Operators interested in registering can visit pseb.org.pk, call 0800-01010, or email support@pseb.org.pk, with the registration link also available at https://lnkd.in/dyJm7Sf.

about
CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
