Pakistan’s technology sector continues to expand its presence in international markets, with new opportunities emerging around global partnerships, export growth and industry facilitation. In line with this expansion, Tech Destination Pakistan and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication have announced an opening for a Chief Business Development Officer, a senior role intended to lead the country’s outreach efforts across global technology markets and strengthen strategic partnerships on behalf of the industry.

According to the announcement, candidates should bring at least twelve years of experience in building markets, forging strategic partnerships and driving business development within the technology sector. The role is described as carrying a wide mandate, reflecting the scale of opportunity currently available in Pakistan’s growing technology export landscape. Interested applicants have been asked to submit their curriculum vitae or resume by email to careerpakistan.apply@gmail.com, with the deadline for applications set for 2nd August 2026. Candidates can also apply through the official government portal at njp.gov.pk, where additional application instructions are available.

A full description of the job responsibilities and requirements has also been made available through links shared alongside the announcement, giving prospective applicants a detailed overview of the position before they submit their materials. The posting was shared jointly by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan and Tech Destination Pakistan, both of which have been active in recent months in promoting the country’s technology and digital economy sector to international audiences and investors.

The hiring announcement comes at a time when Pakistan’s technology exports and industry facilitation efforts remain a key focus area for government bodies working to position the country as a competitive destination for technology investment and international business. Officials associated with the initiative have used the opportunity to highlight ongoing efforts around nation branding and global marketing for the country’s technology and digital economy sector, with the Chief Business Development Officer expected to play a central role in shaping how these efforts are carried out going forward. Applicants with relevant experience have been encouraged to apply before the stated deadline to be considered for the position.
