Meezan Bank, in collaboration with ConnectHear, has announced a summer camp focused on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics designed specifically for children with hearing and physical impairment. The initiative, funded by Meezan Bank, aims to introduce young participants to foundational technology concepts through an inclusive and engaging learning environment tailored to their needs. The camp is scheduled to begin on 25th July and will be held at Ribat the Campus, running daily sessions from 11 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.
The program is open to children between the ages of nine and twelve years old and will be conducted across a total of four classes during the camp period. Organizers describe the camp as a fun and inclusive learning experience designed to introduce children to the world of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics through engaging activities and real world projects that encourage creative thinking. The curriculum has been structured around three core areas, including exploring basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence, gaining hands on experience with robotics, and building practical skills through coding and innovation focused exercises.
Participants in the camp will be introduced to the basics of Artificial Intelligence and how machines process information, alongside fundamentals of coding and robotics that form the building blocks of the sessions. The program also places emphasis on teamwork and problem solving skills, encouraging children to collaborate with one another as they work through creative projects and hands on innovation tasks throughout the four classes. Organizers noted that seats for the camp are limited, and interested families have been encouraged to register as early as possible to secure a place for their children.
The initiative reflects a broader effort by Meezan Bank and ConnectHear to expand access to technology education for children with impairments, providing them with an opportunity to explore Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in a supportive and accessible setting.
