The annual P@SHA ICT Awards are back for the year and all set to take place on the 3rdof August 2018. Every year, the P@SHA awards aim to provide recognition to the software and service companies of Pakistan by providing opportunities to gain local, regional and international exposure. The theme for this year is “Galaxy of Tech Stars”, that comes with a facelift of the P@SHA ICT Awards official website.
The awards recognize the achievements of home-grown Pakistani innovators by acknowledging creativity, innovation and excellence in Pakistan’s Information and Communications Technologies sector.

The applications for the P@SHA ICT Awards are now open with a deadline of 2ndJuly! So apply now!
There are 9 categories this time around, these include: Consumer, under which Banking, Finance, Insurance, Digital marketing/advertising, media and entertainment, Real Estate, Retail and distribution and tourism come. Then there is the category of Inclusion and community services that includes education, community services, health and wellbeing, indigenous services, Regional/rural/remote services.

The industrial category includes agriculture, engineering and construction, manufacturing, resources, energy and utilities, Supply chain logistics, sustainability and environment and transport. Under the business services category, we have Fintech, ICT services and solution, marketing solutions, professional services solution, and security solutions.
They have also included categories such as Public Sector that will include Digital Government, government and citizen services. Under the student category, the subcategories that fall are: Junior Student, Senior Student, and tertiary student project.
The service category includes: Best in BPO, CSR, Export Growth, and gender diversity. Under technology, they have included artificial intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and internet of things. The last category is the cross category that includes research and development and startups.
