Pakistan Software Export Board has announced an opportunity for technology companies from Pakistan to participate in Web Summit Vancouver 2026, one of the world’s leading technology conferences that brings together global leaders from the fields of innovation, investment, digital policy, and emerging technologies. The participation is being facilitated under the umbrella of Tech Destination Pakistan and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications as part of continued efforts to expand Pakistan’s presence in international technology markets.

The event is scheduled to take place in Vancouver Convention Centre, Canada, from 11 to 14 May 2026, where participants from more than 100 countries are expected to attend. The platform is known for bringing together startups, established technology companies, investors, policymakers, and media representatives under one roof, offering opportunities for collaboration, business expansion, and exposure to global technology trends. Pakistan Software Export Board aims to position Pakistani IT and IT enabled services companies in this global ecosystem through a dedicated Pakistan pavilion that will showcase the country’s growing digital capabilities.

Under this initiative, Pakistan Software Export Board is offering a subsidized participation package for its member companies, where 60 percent of the cost is covered under the program. The initiative also includes a dedicated Pakistan pavilion space along with lounge facilities for up to 15 IT and IT enabled services companies, allowing them to present their products, services, and solutions directly to international audiences. This structured participation is designed to support software houses, startups, and freelancers by providing direct access to global markets and potential business partnerships.

The opportunity is aligned with Pakistan’s broader Digital Pakistan vision, which focuses on strengthening the country’s digital economy, expanding IT exports, and enhancing the global competitiveness of local technology firms. Interested companies are required to complete their application process by 20 April 2026, as limited seats are available for participation. Through such engagements, Pakistan Software Export Board continues to facilitate international exposure for the country’s technology sector, encouraging stronger trade linkages and long term collaboration with global partners while reinforcing Pakistan’s position in the international digital services landscape.
