In a move aimed at empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan to grow beyond borders, Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has partnered with Alibaba.com to host an insightful capacity-building session, SMElevate – Empowering SME Growth Beyond Borders. The session will provide SMEs with the essential tools and knowledge required to expand their reach in global markets, particularly in the Apparel and Sports sector.

The training session is designed to help Pakistani SMEs navigate the complexities of global trade by offering practical insights into the necessary skills and strategies for enhancing export capabilities. The focus will be on helping businesses improve their online presence, navigate regulatory processes, and leverage digital trade to reach international markets.

Event Details:
Date: May 13, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Venue: Hotel The Jeevens – Ali Hall, Sialkot

This event aims to play a crucial role in strengthening SME participation in international trade by providing tailored guidance on overcoming challenges specific to the apparel and sports sectors. By attending the session, businesses will gain expertise in improving their digital footprints, optimizing international trade processes, and understanding how to elevate their global export strategies effectively.

As the global marketplace continues to evolve, enhancing the digital presence of Pakistani SMEs is critical. This training will address how to increase visibility on online platforms, enhance digital marketing techniques, and create more robust e-commerce strategies to compete globally. The session will also explore various digital trade tools, including Alibaba.com’s vast e-commerce network, offering Pakistani businesses a unique opportunity to expand their reach.

For Sialkot-based businesses interested in participating, the event will require attendees to fill out a registration form, which can be accessed via the following link: bit.ly/3YqhoSC. It is highly recommended that potential participants complete the registration at the earliest to confirm their seats.

In addition to valuable sessions on global market navigation, the event will also offer a networking opportunity where participants can interact with industry experts, exchange experiences, and build connections with fellow entrepreneurs. These interactions are expected to open doors to further collaborations, partnerships, and opportunities in international markets.

For any queries regarding the session, attendees can contact the event organizers at momal.mushtaque@psw.gov.pk or reach out to the Pakistan Single Window helpline at 021-99332118.

PSW’s collaboration with Alibaba.com for this event signifies a substantial step toward bridging the gap for SMEs in Pakistan, helping them adapt to modern trade requirements and build stronger international market linkages. The training initiative is expected to not only boost Pakistan’s export capabilities but also enhance the competitive edge of SMEs in the global marketplace.

Those eager to enhance their business prospects internationally are encouraged to attend and take full advantage of the resources and insights offered by the SMElevate session. The event promises to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected global economy.
