University of Science and Technology (UST) Bannu and the National Information Technology Board (NITB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the implementation of the E-Office System at the university. The initiative is aimed at facilitating digital transformation and promoting paperless office practices across UST Bannu’s administrative operations, marking a step forward in the university’s broader modernization efforts.
Under the agreement, NITB will support the deployment of the E-Office system, which is expected to strengthen institutional efficiency through streamlined workflows and improved records management at the university. The collaboration is designed to move UST Bannu away from traditional paper based administrative processes toward a fully digital system for managing official correspondence, approvals, and internal workflows.
According to the two organisations, the E-Office system is expected to contribute toward greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency in administrative processes at UST Bannu. The initiative aligns with the federal government’s broader vision of digital governance and the modernization of public sector institutions, reflecting a wider push across Pakistan to bring higher education institutions into line with national digitisation goals.
The collaboration marks a significant step toward strengthening technology enabled service delivery within the higher education sector, with UST Bannu reaffirming its commitment to digital transformation, innovation, and efficient governance as part of the partnership.
