Huawei Cloud Connect 2021 will be held at the National Incubation Center in Islamabad. The goal of this event was to discuss the importance of Cloudification in the fourth industrial revolution.

An outstanding panel of knowledgeable industry professionals spoke at the event about the problems and possibilities that cloudification presents for start-ups. Shaukat Ali, Managing Partner of PSEB, Hank Shao, Managing Director of Huawei Cloud Business, Aiman Khan, CEO of SLOSH AI Solutions, and Abdul Rahim Ahmed, Chief Information Officer of the Special Technology Zones Authority, were among the panellists (STZA). Parvez Abbasi, Project Director, NIC, greeted the attendees and panellists.

“NIC ‘s vision is to help young people in startups and business development which is not possible without private intervention. NIC welcomes Huawei and hopes to build a relation with startups in terms of IT and communication” — Project Director Parvez Abbasi, The panellists highlighted the possibilities and opportunities that cloud computing services provide. In most circumstances, investing in hardware as a startup is not an option. To help entrepreneurs, the cloud is an obvious choice. Huawei is launching cloud connect as a CSR initiative to give back to society and advance technology.

Mr. Hank Shao explains that cloud connect is a technology that allows companies to concentrate on their core business. During this period of rapid growth for the software sector and entrepreneurs, businesses must reach out to clients as quickly as feasible. Cloud Connect gives its users access to a new pool of clients and services with no restrictions.

SLOSH, a Pakistani health-tech firm, raised awareness of the obstacles that IT and digital innovators confront in Pakistan, where there is no direct representation to resolve concerns in real-time. As well as cloudification training for entrepreneurs. Huawei Cloud Connect may now operate as a provider for them.

“These facilities, incubation centers all over Pakistan are playing a tremendous role in building a knowledge based economy. Such initiatives are the only way to create jobs and move forward with the legacy thinking we have in mind”– Shahzad Rasheed, CEO, Huawei cloud Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Ali -CTO-PSEB, discussed how Pakistan has inked six cloud services agreements in order to provide a platform where any IT business may obtain services at a low cost. He also talked about the lack of understanding about cloud services’ potential and the need for subsidised training courses for full ecosystems.

Mr. Farhan Ali, Director of Huawei Cloud Eco-System & Solutions, discussed Huawei’s worldwide reach and startup offerings through the Huawei Spark programme. Huawei’s cloud Spark Program is a worldwide assistance programme. Huawei Cloud collaborates with partners, venture capitalists, and governments to assist and accelerate the growth of companies. Huawei Cloud offers over 220 services suitable for a wide range of sectors, providing customers with a whole new market in which to innovate and develop solutions.

“NIC Islamabad took this initiative to launch Huawei cloud connect, IGNITE is focused on promoting innovation and entrepreneurs in Pakistan. 2021 has been remarkable for Pakistani startups, 376-million-dollar worth of investment came to Pakistan.”—Asim Shehryar-CEO-IGNITE

Shields were distributed as a sign of the NIC startup’s link with Huawei at the end of the event. NIC is upbeat about its goals to create a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs and startups, and Huawei cloud connect will only add to that.
