Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT) and National Information Technology Board (NITB) are inviting the citizens of Pakistan to actively contribute in shaping the identity of the country’s upcoming Unified Public-Centric Government Services Portal. This initiative encourages public participation in suggesting both the name and logo for the portal, which is intended to streamline and unify government services with a user-focused digital interface.

The campaign emphasizes community involvement by opening the floor to ideas “For the People | By the People | The People’s Voice.” Citizens are encouraged to propose creative and relevant names and logo designs that reflect the inclusive and service-driven nature of the portal. According to the announcement, selected suggestions will be officially acknowledged by the ministry, offering contributors the chance to become part of a significant milestone in Pakistan’s digital governance landscape.

The call for submissions is currently open, with the deadline set for July 10, 2025. Participants can submit their entries by scanning the QR code displayed in the campaign or by visiting the relevant online submission portal linked through NITB’s official channels. The initiative is being promoted under the broader vision of Tech Destination Pakistan, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving digital infrastructure and accessibility for citizens through collaborative and transparent efforts.

MoITT and NITB are steering this project with the objective of centralizing access to public services in a single platform. This portal is expected to simplify how citizens interact with various government departments and services by integrating them into a user-friendly, secure, and accessible system. The development aligns with broader national efforts to modernize digital service delivery and enhance public trust in government technology initiatives.

Engaging the public in naming and designing the portal reinforces the Ministry’s drive toward a participatory model of governance, where citizens are not just users but also contributors to digital innovation. It also demonstrates a shift towards valuing creativity and inclusivity in government communication and technology development. The campaign allows individuals from all backgrounds to contribute ideas that resonate with a national audience and serve a meaningful role in defining a key public service interface.

The upcoming portal is being designed to reflect the evolving needs of digital citizens, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience when accessing government services. With the rapid digital transformation underway across Pakistan, the portal marks another step toward delivering smart, integrated public services that prioritize ease, transparency, and accountability. By inviting citizens to shape its identity, MoITT and NITB are signaling a more connected and responsive approach to national digital governance.

For more details or to participate, the public is encouraged to visit NITB’s official social media platforms or scan the QR code provided in the campaign material.
